Three Story Street Feast: Local foods presented in a cross-cultural, progressive five-course dinner

Chef Samm Petrichos of Spice and SHoP’s very own David Durstewitz are putting together a street food themed dinner featuring local foods and sustainable practices to be served throughout the Fenn House in a five-course progressive meal. Theatrical and musical performances will embellish the night. Don’t miss one of the last events at the SHoP! Price is $40 (including drink pairings). See the event page for more information. Conrad Freiburg: Odd Geometry
8:00 to 9:00 pm
Returning to the Fenn house from the Odd Geometry tour, Conrad Freiburg will be playing a set of nocturnes for uke and banjo followed by a new absurd form for improvisation using the ukularp and heptagonal slapstick bucket. These songs have roots in folk forms but veer into new territory each time they are played. Nothing is ever the same.

A music/animation/screen printing collaboration is seeking anyone who is inspired by the idea of revolutionizing independent music/art distribution, especially those savvy with smartphone, tablet, and wireless technology. More information here.

The month of October will be one of exploration on the nature of artistic independence and community interdependence, dedicated to informal education and an investigation of the Public Artist. Artists in this exhibit have scheduled themselves this months to collect stories, mend things, perform, practice, teach, and make things and invite the community in to participate! Please come by and visit us often and check our schedule for open studio hours!
