Dave Ford’s Truck Drawings

Ending his trip from Santa Fe, NM, this past Saturday night, Dave Ford pulled up to the Fenn House and unloaded his drawings. (Editorial note: he does not drive a Ford.) These drawings were created by network pencils fastened to the downward hanging spouts of plastic bottles. With each bottle filled with water to act as ballast, they were then suspended from a rope lattice spanning the floor of the truck bed. Every bump in the road and turn of the truck is recorded on the paper lining the floor of the truck bed.

If you weren’t there to view the unloading process, stop by to see the final product on display.
