Many Hands Make Work Light – Workday Saturday, September 10th

Dear friends and fellow workers!
We’ve lost a few good hands, so if you’re sitting around thinking “Oh, I’m sure they have tons of people helping out this Saturday, they don’t need me,” then this letter is for you.

We will be open in September every Saturday from 10:00 am – 6:00 pm and every Sunday from 12:00 – 6:00 pm for studio visits, house tours, work, skill building, and yard sales.

Learn by doing, share your knowledge, and have fun! Why, last week we even got watermelon slices – while we worked!

Skill shares will be offered by generous members of our community. If you wish to help out, teach, learn a life skill, look around, have a chat – come on down.

This week we will have a couple professional renovators on deck to teach us these special skills:

* how to putty windows
* interior painting techniques
* more!

We have attached our wish list for the project. Please take a look and if you have any of the items, wish to sponsor us to buy an item, or just wish to sponsor the project in any way, please contact Keith Peterson at selworks@sbcglobal.net. He will arrange pick-up, drop off, or other with you. Thanks so much for your continued support!

We dare you to join in the fun! All volunteers will get hours in the Time Bank exchange.

Look forward to seeing you,

Yours with gratitude at SHoP
